Haute Couture SS10: Elie Saab
It was as if the dresses had been painted by Saab- his latest collection showed that the true art of fashion is undoubtedly couture. I’m with Style.com, though- take the gowns off the runway and they will look like High School Musical meets the happy part of Prom Night, if it was all set in the early 1940s. (Wow, I agree with Condé Nast?)
However, the efforts of Saab must not go unnoticed- and, in practice, couture isn’t going to be worn by students at a suburban high school. There were truly great parts to the collection, so here’s some of the best:
